Jayco Adds 3-Year Structural Warranty to 2020 Units (5/31/2019)

In addition to the company’s two-year limited warranty, Jayco Inc. is adding a three-year structural warranty on all its 2020 models, covering such areas like the roof, laminated walls and floors.

Known as the “Jayco 2+3 Warranty,” officials told RVBUSINESS.com that the new warranty represents the longest available in the industry on all travel trailers, fifth-wheels, toy haulers and motorhomes. Company officials sent notice of the "Jayco 2+3 Warranty" to dealer partners and current Jayco RV owners.

“Our latest warranty supports our commitment to quality and also speaks to our confidence in our products,” said Derald Bontrager, Jayco president and CEO. “By extending our warranty coverage, it’s going to change the game in our industry and is truly indicative of our customer-first approach.”

In a video announcing the "Jayco 2+3 Warranty," Bontrager added that Jayco is “proud to stand behind every RV it builds. Our customers have always been a top priority, and providing them peace of mind after the sale is one way we’ve focused on that in our over 50 years of business.”

Also appearing in the video is Ashley (Bontrager) Lehman, Jayco’s director of marketing, who noted, “When my grandfather started the company, he operated under the philosophy of ‘A promise made is a promise kept.’ We conduct our business the same way today. That’s why our warranty has been the industry’s best, and now we’re making it even better.”
